When It Rains, it Pours

Unfortunatly George's fans in the borders were left dishearted after heavy rain cancelled & washed out St James Fair in Kelso 2008.
There has been rumours of re-scheduling but no offical news has reached us yet.
George, loves performing at the Kelso festival & has a great following of supporters, this was to be his third year back & he is 'gutted' that this years weekend was cancelled, but you can't do anything about the weather, welcome to scotland!

Prices are still to be confirmed but will be around £15.

Just confirmed folks for the thrird year running George will be headlining St James Fair on both the Saturday 6th September night and also on the Sunday 7th September. The fair is a brilliant day out for all the family, as well as George's fantastic outdoor show, there will be other acts, stalls, fair ground rides etc...

It was a really exciting day for George, who went to meet his favorite band & also the vocalist who has influenced him so much, Marti Pellow.
After queing for hours, he was right in front of the band for there performance at Zavvi store in Glasgow. Then the signing, where George met the band, & presented his album to Marti Pellow, who was very interested! He also got a signed album & signed setlist from the band!
It's a day he'll never forget!

Where do we start! What a fantatsic day, thankyou to all fans who came along to support George! A huge thanks especially to fans who came all the way from Glasgow to see George, complete with banners, GK t-shirts..amazing!
The day was a huge success for Kelso and also for George! This year George attracted a bigger crowd than ever and gave his all in the town square!
Thanks must go to all who organised & ran the event, & also the guys from PLF doing a great job with the sound!
Once again, thankyou so much Kelso, we'll be back next year!!

Elvis Aaron Presley has touched the lifes of many people in the world, and count me as one of them! This Thursday celebrates 30 years since his death on August 16th 1977. Along with many other artists i have been heavilly influenced by Elvis and since discovering his music as a kid, i was hooked for life. I thought it would be fitting to leave a little tribute to a man who changed not only music & culture but the world, and also my life. I will be performing a song in his memory at my perfomances this week. Long live the legend of the king of rock 'n' roll.

If you were listening to BBC Radio Scotland yesterday (14th July), you would have heard George, as he rocked Kelso town square, singing the upbeat killers track 'Read My Mind'.
The show was held together by presenter John Beattie and his fantastic BBC crew and George performed along side other great acts, kelso folk club, Craig Jeffreys and also his Uncle Ken and his wife Cathy Stewart! It was a great success, and rounds up successful year of BBC soundtown in kelso.

Great news guys!
George will be performing live on BBC Scotland this Saturday as part of Border town, Kelso's civic week celebrations. The event is held in the town square and starts at 2pm, George is due on stage at 3:45pm and is extremley excited about performing live in kelso and also on BBC radio. the event is free, come along and support George along with other great acts!

great news! George has invested in a fantastic, bigger sound system! The new set up includes 4 massive bass bins along with two top speakers from the makers HK Audio! George & team will be using the new system for the first time at Haggerston Castle Holiday Park on Saturday 28th April! Joining the team will be joined by Brian Martin, Managing Director of PFL Pro Audio & Lighting, who are the biggest uk supplier of HK Audio equiptment!Brian will be helping throughout the night with the sound system!!

We know you've been waiting to hear how George got on and we are proud to announce it was a great success. It was an early start on Wednesday morning for sound checks at the famous Horseshoe bar on Blackpool pleasure beach.
The show kicked off at 1pm with a range of different acts but none as different as George. He appeared 14th in the running order after fellow scot, female vocalist, Jamieson.
This was a huge event for George and he was very nervous but he gave everything and wowed the hardened & sober! audience with his energy and brilliant vocals. He performed three songs, 'The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You', 'Temptation' & 'Holiday'.
We have got some professional DVD footage of George performing at the showcase and we are in the process of putting it on the website very soon. Thankyou for all your support, teddys, cards!! your support means everythng to George!

Some fans may have heard George was rushed to hospital in Ambulance in the early hours of Monday morning, suffering from what doctors described as an Alegrgic reatcion combined with a panic attack.
We are please to say that George has fully recoved, is fit and well and is looking forward to performing at the weekend. Thanks for all your kind emails.
